It is my pleasure to bring you greetings from the Tau Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and to welcome you to our official website.
Our chapter is strongly committed in service to Trotwood, Ohio and in the Greater Dayton area. Established in April, 1992, Tau Lambda Omega continues to provide programs that support the current national theme of “Launching New Dimensions of Service.”
We are sponsoring programs to improve the health of our community, to strengthen families, and to enhance environments where our children learn and play. Our other very important service initiatives include developing the leadership skills and potential of young people in high school. We also work constantly on self-improvement of our organization by providing leadership training to our members for more effective service in the communities we serve.
Tau Lambda Omega members are leaders in their communities through board membership, service groups, in their churches and in the “Great,” Great Lakes Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Also as leaders of women in the business sector, Tau Lambda Omega members daily demonstrate their pledge to provide “service to all mankind.”
If you are interested in reconnecting with your sorority sisters, we invite you to join us at a chapter meeting held the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm.
Please feel free to view this website for more information regarding the activities of Tau Lambda Omega Chapter or to write to our chapter. Additional information regarding Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated can be found at www.aka1908.com.
